Our vision
What sets us apart
Every Naseeha programme returns to these. They are the reason a young Muslim stays.
Not rules, but roots.
We build conviction before behavior. Belonging comes before instruction, because a young Muslim who knows who they are will carry the practice on their own.
Faith in the register they actually speak.
Our scholars understand the modern world because they have lived in it. They teach the deen as it meets a professional, a student, a parent, in the life they are really living.
Years, not evenings.
We walk with people over sustained journeys, not one-off events. The work is measured in cohorts and seasons, in people who stay long enough to grow.
Both worlds, lived in full.
Dual credentials: elite academic training and classical Islamic scholarship, in the same people. They understand both worlds because they have lived both worlds.
Our story
LUMS
Arsalan Ahmed, Moeen Mahmood, Yasin Asad and Abubakr Siddique met at LUMS. A teacher, Shaykh Kamaluddin Ahmed, began giving lectures in the campus masjid, and a community formed around them.
The double education
Under his guidance, a cohort pursued the full traditional seminary curriculum alongside their degrees: classical Islamic scholarship and elite secular study, in the same years. Two of the founders completed all eight years of it.
The insight
The founders went into education as practitioners and saw the loss of purpose and identity among Pakistan’s educated youth up close. Naseeha was built to fill the gap they had felt themselves.
2020
Just before COVID, they began with a one-year programme that grew into the four-year AISL. Incorporated as a Section 42 nonprofit with the SECP in 2023, it has gone from a first batch of 25 students to tens of thousands reached every year.
Leadership
The founding team holds elite academic credentials and traditional seminary training in the same people. Our team understands both worlds because they have lived both worlds.
And the team carrying it forward
Guided by a Council of Stewards of senior Islamic scholars, and supported by programmes, finance, and legal councils.
The next chapter
The Naseeha Community Centre & Masjid is Pakistan’s first dedicated community center and mosque complex for educated youth. Rising on Barki Road in Lahore, it will hold a mosque, classrooms, counselling rooms, and community spaces under one roof: a place that will outlast every programme and every event.
Accountability
Every rupee donated is an amanah we take seriously. Accounts are independently audited and held in a restricted fund for the NCCM that cannot be moved to operations.
